I have a client with four Umbraco sites. They want the search to look for the query in all four sites irrelevant of which one the term is entered into. At present we have installed Google Search for them but, as they frequently make changes to their content, this is not working for them. Can anybody assist with a search that allows a query to be researched in four sites at the same time (i.e. consider the content of all four sites)?

Perhaps you could use XSLTsearch to what you are trying to do https://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/xsltsearch and maybe this blog post from Douglas Robar http://blog.percipientstudios.com/2010/11/17/quick-and-easy-multi-lingual-search-pages-for-umbraco-sites.aspx can help you to archive what you are trying to do.
