Hello
I have made a new datatype using the dropdown list, hoping that I could use it as a macro parameter, but the list of parameter types seems to be static.
Is there a way to use my own data types as a macro parameter?

Hi
Take a look at this post: http://www.richardsoeteman.net/2010/01/04/CreateACustomMacroParameterType.aspx
Hope it helps.

Perfect, that was the solution I was looking for.
Thanks!
Major bump as I need some clarification on this.
Is the custom data type (based on the dropdownlist) and the custom macro parameter shown in the blog post above different things.
If so I assume I will then need to make sure the prevalues in the drop down list data type match those in the macro type.
(I assume this still applies in v 4.7)
is working on a reply...
