If I I'm caching an XSLT macro and I uncheck "by page" and "personalized", will there be one cache for the entire site? Will it take into account the macro params passed in by the template into the macro?
Don't use it that often in such situtations, but do know you can find out a lot by using ?umbdebugshowtrace=true as this will reveal how cache is stored, what names, and what params are considered for caching.

Hi Jason,
Don't use it that often in such situtations, but do know you can find out a lot by using ?umbdebugshowtrace=true as this will reveal how cache is stored, what names, and what params are considered for caching.
Hope this helps.

Hadn't thought of that. I'll check that out. Thanks!
Hello,
I'm really new here, literally within the last 10 min. :-)
I'm just starting out in my web design/development career, I'm starting to like the ASP.net power and functionality more and more everyday.
Web performance will always be a priority with me.
I noticed this was more than a year ago, I was wondering if you had a chance to post your thoughts on your experiences with caching.
Thank you in advance,
Rob
