Where/How do I submit my custom package to Our Umbraco?

Hello, all. I've developed a small property package that I'd like to submit to the Umbraco community in case it would be of some use to anyone. I can't figure out how!

Do I have to fork into the core project or does that not include third party extensions?

Where/How do I submit my custom package to Our Umbraco?

    Thanks!

Hi Shayna, You can create a project here on our by going to your profile (click your avatar and choose edit profile...) and then selecting projects down the left side.

These days, projects take two forms - an Umbraco package created (generally - there are alternate means as well) through the Packages tree in the Developer section in Umbraco; or alternatively you may choose to create a NuGet package and then reference that in the project details.

There should be a fair amount of documentation on this in the Documentation section; but if you get stuck, just reply on this thread.

    Hey Shayna,

    That's cool :)

I'm sure we can find a use for that in the near future...

About the only thing I'd consider is adding more detail to the project description on the project page - even if you duplicate a lot of the content in the project readme file - it will help people understand what the project does and be able to find it easier without having to go off-site to find out.

Keep up the good work :)
