I have the habit of creating packages of the most basic stuff I need to start my websites. These consist of DocumentTypes, templates and a couple of macros. These macros use partial view macro files. I've recently noticed when installing my package for reuse, that the macros are created, but the partial view macro files are not.
Is this intended behavior? If so, how can I best include these files? Via the file picker near the end of the packaging proces?
Yes. the first time I noticed this I had installed a package which was made in An older v7 into a 7.5.3 imstance. Thought it might have something to do with versions, so I recreated the files and repackaged everything in 7.5.3. I started up a new 7.5.3 instance, installed the package again. Same result.
I'm not sure if it's a bug or if it's by design and I'm just going about it the wrong way.
But I was pretty sure the files would be added automatically if I added macro's to the package.
Pratial View Macro files not included in package

Hi Giovanni,
When did you notice this? Is it 7.5.3 version od Umbraco?
