Hello everyone,
I want to edit Umbraco default Login page, removing the username and password fields and perhaps change the welcome text.
Does anyone knows how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance,
Andre Sousa.
Hi Andre, It's in this file \Umbraco\Views\common\dialogs\login.html
Kerri
Thank you very much Kerri!
I was looking for this a long time and won't be able to find it.
Best regards.
No Problem Andre, glad I could help.
I am curious though, how people will log in to the CMS admin if you remove the username and password fields?
Hi Kerri,
They will login through the "Sign in with My Service" button in the picture above. This will load a new login page through an external service.
Yes, was curious how that worked, it's not something I've done before or seen on an Umbraco site - is it something you have written yourself or a plug in?
Thanks Kerri
It's something that a coworker wrote a time ago, and i'm using it know. But i have to be honest, i don't really know how it is implemented xD
is working on a reply...
