    Umbraco Backend: How to disable checkbox and button on Upload DataType?

    Hi,

    I use the Upload datatype on a document type to hold an uploaded file by a member from a secured area website. My questions are:

    • How to disable the checkbox ( remove file ) and upload button on backend?
    • Is there a better datatype or mode to present in the backoffice the url of uploaded file?

    I don't think there's a property editor that does what you want, without allowing the backoffice-user to change the file.

    So I, shamelessly, made on out of Umbracos FileUpload-property editor and just removed the unnecessary UI.
