    Unable to upload file into media section

    Hi All,

    I'm having an issue with one of my sites,where my users are unable to upload a pdf, other sites on the same box can upload. The pdf is quite small c. 200k.

    I've noticed in the console there's this message > 

    http://xxxxxx/umbraco/webservices/MediaUploader.ashx?format=json&action=upload&parentNodeId=2948
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

    The node exists and clicking on the URL I get {"success":true}

    I'm running version v6.1.5

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi John

    That sounds really weird since the default settings for file size in various configs by default are set high enough so uploading 200 k should not be an issue at all - I'm wondering if it could be a permission issue perhaps? Or is disk where the site is located running out of space perhaps?

    Hi Jan,

    The site has been active for around 18 months and I have exactly the same code on 3 other websites as they're clones of eat other.

    Space was one of the things I checked, I have plently, c. 30Gb free.

    I checked the permissions and the apppool has read/write access to Media folder.

    I just done another test, this time with a small pdf 16k and that uploaded ok.I'll keep looking.
