    Umbraco 7 and Aungular2

    Hi,

    Does anybody knows how to setup angular2 in Visual Studio 2015 for Umbraco 7 backend?

    I am planning to add custom modules in Umbraco 7 back office. I know how to create custom sections in Umbraco 7 using this link.

    But cant find any solution where Angular 2 is being setup with Umbraco 7 back office.

    Hi Shuja,

    Umbraco currently only provides support for Angular 1.x. Maybe you can load it manually but I don't think that it is a good idea to mix both versions.

    Why not stick with Angular 1.x from Umbraco?

    Thanks David.

    I know Umbraco 7 supports Angular 1.x at this stage. But I also read somewhere on web that the principle would be same if one is using Angular 2.

    Since Angular2 is much more simpler to implement than 1.x, I was going with that approach.

    My last resort will be using Angular 1.x.
