For what I've read and understood, umbraco 8 will ship a new decoupled cache system as a service and it will be replaceable.
My team is planning to use umbraco in a very large scale system, but so far we got hindered by umbraco 7 and its xml/in-memory cache strategies.
Our problem is that when we have a large umbraco site (60k+ nodes), and we need to publish data constantly, many performance issues arise, and it needs to be reliable.
My hope is that I will have full control over how cache works in umbraco 8. Could some core team give me more details about how it will work?
How will Umbraco 8 cache system work?
