A client wants to lock down Umbraco v7.2.0 quite heavily for a high security deployment. They have asked what the effects would be of locking down the webservices by IP.

Does anyone know if any of the following services require external access, for say load balancing etc?

CheckForUpgrade.asmx
CMSNode.asmx
codeEditorSave.asmx
Developer.asmx
legacyAjaxCalls.asmx
MacroContainerService.asmx
nodeSorter.asmx
progressStatus.asmx
publication.asmx
Settings.asmx
templates.asmx
trashcan.asmx
TreeClientService.asmx

I guess as long as it does not require communication with another installation then locking down by IP should be fine.

Has anyone any experience with this, that would be very helpful.
