I'm working on a project which uses Umbraco 7.4.1. We have a couple of forms on the project that isn't using the built in Umbraco Forms due to the collection of projects that all form data is stored in a cross-network database and we also use one of the clients custom API to work with their system. We are having a weird issue where sometimes the HTTP requests of the form submission are failing and being confused as a page request which ends up redirecting the request to the 404 page. I've noticed there was a fix for this in 7.5.11 but as the project is such a large project we are currently planning the upgrade process which won't be implemented for another couple of months, is anyone else away from this issue and does anyone have any more information and possible workarounds to fix the issue.
Key Points & Information:
1. Possible header mismatch - Just theory
2. Umbraco API controller authentication issue - Just theory
Any information and support will be much appreciated.
