    Reset password Problem

    Extending Umbraco and using the API

    I am Reseting the password for umbraco Member at that time in controller save password method throws exception that don't change password manually????

    Which method is used to reset existing member password?

    can you show us the code of the controller method where you try to reset the password of a member?

    Hi pranjal, can you check allowManuallyChangingPassword setting in your web.config file. It should be set to true in order to reset password.
