If you want to implement global search for site in Umbraco 7 very easy. Then you should have a look at the package ezSearch from Matt Brailsford
https://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/ezsearch/
I have used it before and it super easy to set up.

Acutally i am trying to use Examine Search of Umbraco also it is fast.
after that i will use ezSearch
I'm trying Examine as well, can you give me some tips/advice? Looks overwhelming and I don't now where to look first.
