We need to integrate users and user groups with an external web service. Who did it before or know how to do it, share please some tips. On this topic describe the steps needed for Umbraco to support external data on users and groups.
We don't want to provide support for all methods, so we need to select what is absolutely needed.
so I've always had a member for each of the users logging in
So if you are using thrird party validation , it still needs to have member to capture your data locally, it makes it a lot easier for maintenance and speed
so registration creates a user in the third party data set and alos creates one locally and you populate that ..
any login verification is done by the remote service but most other stuff you capture trade on locally
