We are using Umbraco version 7.5.4 in our project.
Because we will have many admin as users we need an option to filter the users by name. prefferably from the Contet permission window.
I see there is no such option in this umbraco version.
Is there another solution? maybe an extension for doing so?
For Umbraco 7.5 - you could look at User Group Permissions Package (but as it says at the top of that, you should upgrade (see below) also the Bulk User Admin package may also help you manage the users,
In Umbraco 7.7 the user management was overhauled quite a bit, and you can manage the users by groups which has a significant impact on how you manage content permissions. there are a few things to watch out for on an upgrade but this will solve your problems.
