When I upload files to media section they all get the alias="image". How can that be? I am sure it has not been like that before.

I tried to look for a setting on my folders but found none. Is there something I am missing?

When I add a Word file I expect it to have alias "file", not "image".

Is it possible to detect incoming file type based on extension, mediatype, contenttype ...?

How is the mapping to my internal mediaTypes performed? I guess I have experimented with the default ones and created my own mediatypes. Maybe this means I need to do some manual mapping?
