Umbraco serves cache media instead of original file ( Cache does not updated)

We are updating umbraco media using api. But umbraco does not serve updated media files. Files on servers are updated but if we browse through umbraco url we get older copy of files.

    Any help appreciated?

    Hi Pagggy

Can it be browser cache? What did you mean browse via Umbraco?

    Thanks,

    Alex

Thanks for Answering Alex, No we tried clearing browser cache. We tried on completely new machine still umbraco serves old file.

Browse mean to load direct media path from web browser http://umbraco/media/12345/sdfs.csv

An issue I've come across is with content editors wanting to replace media items that have the same url. It's simple for dev to clear the cache folder/rebuild examine indexes but, when you look at the issue on the surface, a simple process such as replacing an image in the media section shouldn't really have to go to dev...

Is there a process to fully clear cache for a single media item when you remove original item, replace with a new one and then save? On event? I'm on v7.13.2.
