I want to use my umbraco api with Token Based Authentication. Can you recommend some ways with example?

Maybe you can give https://github.com/mattbrailsford/umbraco-authu another try, as Matt updated his package for V8 in Sep '19.
Sorry for necro-posting, but I'm also trying to get this to work: Followed the setup and made a call from Postman without any credentials, with no blocking as a result ( = I get the same data returned as before).
Anyone with some input?
Well, with help from @mattbrailsford I got it working.
So for reference: check the references for attributes as well, so they're not pointing to the MVC-namespace.
