It looks like a mistake I made. for me I used the wrong user. It may be that you need to set up a users: under users in umbraco select the user and under content channel you do the magic.
I have a new problem.
when I contact Umbraco through Windows Live Writer. then I get this problem. what should I do
you can fix it by run regedit & goto
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live\Writer\Weblogs, find
the right name and correct the wrong HomepageUrl
(usually duplicate in hostname)
Error Setting up Windows Live Writer
Hey all, I am trying to setup Windows Live Writer to interface with my Umbraco installation. Product versions below:
Umbraco: 4.5.1 (Assembly version: 1.0.3858.40498)
Live Writer: Window Live Writer 2011 Beta
I have followed the instructions found here: http://umbraco.org/documentation/books/using-livewriter however when I try to set it up in Live writer I get the error seen in the image.
Any thoughts?

Can someone post the latest link to the docs for using Windows Live Writer? The link above seems broken.
Also, can you have multiple editors posting using WLW to multiple "channels"?
Using umbraco 4.5.1 under NET 4.
Thx
I would think you can. one user one channel.
