I am new here and just finished first Umbraco installation in Windows 2003 successfully using WPI. I have simply followed the wizard steps and no settings needed to change while installation.
Now the admin layout works perfect but the user side css/js paths are wrong.. How can I correct this?
I have gone thru the admin templates/master pages etc and couldn't find where the JS files are adding to the pages.
Yeah, so you installed it in a virtual directory. I would recommend against it unless you have a really good reason to do it. It's very much recommended to install Umbraco on a new (local) domain name. Check out my screencast on how to install on IIS7, should be very similar to IIS6.
Thanks for the reply.. Yes it is installed as a virtual server.. I dont know how it happened but I just followed the WPI installer on screen instructions.. I checked your video.. gonna manually install it today..
