Which version of .NET does Umbraco 4.5 use?
I'm asking because I'm writing a User Control and I want to know which .NET version I should set the Visual Studio project to.
(I couldn't find this answer, after search around this site.)
Thanks
You can choose for your self and use either .NET 3.5 or .NET 4.0.
And both versions can be found on Codeplex.

If your current site's app pool is configured for .net 4, you can use .net 4, but you could always 3.5, it will still work.
Are there any benefits of using Umbraco with .NET 4.0, instead of 3.5, besides the obvious framework improvements? Any detriments or special cases to consider when choosing?
