Where is the database server when installing Umbraco with the wpi?

I used the wpi to install Umbraco and i used default settings. After installing i noticed a folder in my website called APP_Data where the database files are located. But did there come any database servers with this wpi i can use to make new database files? Because i cant find anything usable for that purpose? If this is the case should i then go out and get something like "sql server 2008 express" or are there other suggestions if i want a free sql server?

    Hope someone can help me

Hello, yes you are right, you need install sql server express edition or any other edition, if want run in the sql server side. Another option is Mysql.

(I think is possible install sql server express with wpi, maybe inside .net install options there is one for sql server express, sql server management studio...)

    Regards
