    .net 2.0 = 3.5?

    Hi 

     

    I just set up a new virtual server with windows 2008 and iis 7 installed.

    Then I installed the web pi 2.0 and installed all the platform tools.

    Installed a fresh version of Umbraco 4.5.2 and its all working fine.

     

    But, in my app pool i can choose between .net 2.0.xxxx and .net 4.0.xxxx

    I've checked and .net 3.5 is installed, so what's going on? :-)

    Also, which version does the web PI download, the .net 3.5 version or the 4.0 version? i'm guessing the 3.5 version since its not working when changing the app pool to .net 4.0

    yes 2.0 and 3.5 are the same thing more or less.

    Yeah, but I just find it a bit strange that 3.5 should appear as 2.0? :)
