    Installing 4.5.2 Locally - Validation or Viewstat MAC Failed

    Hi,

    I am trying to install Umbraco 4.5.2 locally and once submitting step 2/5 (Database Config) I recieve the following error:

    "Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster."

    File permissions look good (Network Service) on all folders...don't really know where to go next.

     

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Resolved

    I restarted the installation process again after modifying my folder permissions and all is well.
