Upgrading 4.5.2 to 4.6.1 Not Working

I am trying to upgrade my dev install of 4.5.2 .NET 3.5 to 4.6.1 .NET 4.

It is stuck at the install welcome screen, no error messages.

Any ideas of how to get umbraco to upgrade my install?

Not 100% sure if it has has anything to do with it, but I would first try to upgrade to .Net 4 with 4.5.2 and see if everything works fine. Have you modified the server configuration accordingly?

Also it might help to manually get rid of a couple of things: App_Data/umbraco.config, App_Data/ClientDependency. Again, don't know if it has anything to do with it, but can't really hurt.

There might also be the issue that some of your installed packages are not working with 4.6.1, I hardly doubt that will disrupt the install screen yet can't hurt to check either.

All Fixed. The issues was the ~/install was missing from the umbracoReservedPaths.
