Install the same umbraco instance on two domains

    Hi,

I don't see how this would be possible but just thought I'd check.

I was wondering if is possible to have the same umbraco "instance" over two domains, (on the same server).

We currently have our website set up as (http) www.website.com and (https) secure.website.com (for security certificate reasons) and these are on two different IP Address i.e. 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2. Meaning in IIS they are technically two different website. (Which is the reason I think it would be impossible)

These websites will have the same layout etc so it would be easier if I could use one instance for both, so that any global chance could be reflected throughout the whole website.

    Any help would be appreciated

    TIA

Yes, it's possible... point both domains to the same site and then assign a separate domain to each site node within umbraco.

Actually I donĀ“t think you need two websites to do this...
