    403 forbidden error

    Hey

I have an umbraco 4.5.2 installation It has been running fine i have cretaed some doc types but all of a sudden today it has started throwing a 403 error when i try to write any changes to the database.

My host swears that all the permissions are correct and it is a windows server running IIS7

Does any one have any ideas what the issue could be or what i could suggest to my host?

What permissions have been set and what folders and files have they been set on?

And what permissions does the database user have? And how are you trying to write to the database?

    /Jan

    Hi Jan,

My hosting support says that Network services and iusr_ have full permissions recusivly on the umbraco root and that the database owner has full permissions. I can make the error happen reliably when i try and save changes to a doc type.

Could it be an issue with firewalls or something like that?

A bbit more investigation shows that this error only seems to occur when i try to save a doc type, i can create nodes save master pages and create new doc types it only happens when I try and save a change to an existing doc type.
