Installed a fresh install on shared hosting - medium trust - last night with a Mysql database and thje process was slick.
The hosting is running .NET 4 framework.
I chose to install a clean install (no start up packages).
The issue was that no nodes were being displayed.
The call to /umbraco/webservices/TreeDataService.ashx?rnd=19547a54861b4adb9efddc75d245670a&id=-1&contextMenu=true&isDialog=false&app=content&rnd2=48.3 returns an empty object. It's not failing, just returns nothing.
I thought it could be a database set-up issue and reinstalled with a MSSQL2005 db. no luck.
Maybe it is a permissions problem? but I don't see any errors. Config issue? but i haven't changed anything except key for using medium trust.
This host has been fine with previous versions of umbraco.
