Template saves but saved changes are viewable in the editor.

Installing umbraco

When I edit a template it saves okay but if I leave the template and return all my changes are gone.

I made a video UmbracoTemplateNotSaving.avi to help explain. In the video there are 3 windows: 1.) One window shows an edit in the template editor. 2) One window shows the file got saved in the master page folder. 3.) One window show the contents of the save in TextPad. The video shows if I leave the template and come back all my changes are gone?

Hi Jeff

I have not seen the video since I'm on a slow connection at the moment.

But what version of Umbraco are you having this issue on? And is other parts of the backoffice acting up?

Have the proper permissions been set? And could it be something server specific? I think some other people have add similar issues where it turned out the alterations where saved but the changes showed after 6 hours or so...

Look forward to get more information.

Problem Fixed!

I only get the problem when I edit using IE6. When I edit using Chrome everything works great!
