    Hi Johan

Isn't it possible to do this by right clicking on the datatype folder and select "create datatype" - Then I guess you should have a list from which you can choose what kind of datatype you want it to be based on. (Asuming you deleted it within Umbraco).

    Hope this makes sense.

It was more if there was a quick way to do it. it is not a project I have to work forward iton, it's just that I've got a 12 on it for a mock exam. and I want to keep it intact.

but if I have to make them all from start ...

    But many thanks Jan

Ehm...did you delte it in the file structure or "just" within Umbraco?

Don't know if this can be restored by looking in the database somehow perhaps?

    Hi Johan

Must admit that I don't know where to look in the database. This should also only be the very last resort since messing with the db is asking for trouble if one has not thought things through.

But maybe some other bright mind in here knows exactly what to do so you don't need to do it all over again.

Yes. If nobody can help with that. Then I still have to do it over again, it's probably copy paste.

    Thanks Jan
