I have installed it and setup the web.config and sql database. But when I go to the site it redirects me to the install page which as the below post doesn't seem to call the css or js. I tried removing the AIR section from the web.config to no effect. If I remove the bg-personal.jpg I can see some text but the Lets get started! button doesn't work. As a test I have added the worker process account and anonymous account to local admin, the db user is dbo, and in netstat I can see it connects to the SQL server on 1433.
My Question is, is 4.7 iis6 compatible as it is mentioned that the app pool should be in integrated mode, which isn't supported in iis6.
This was an Internet Explorer issue (my mistake thinking IE would work as a web browser). Tried it in Chrome and it works. Odly both the .js and .css would load if the full path was put into IE, but they wouldn't integrate into the page.

Why not just setup it up on IIS7?
umbraco 4.7 works fine on IIS6 here.
Did you make sure you "unblocked" the zip 4.7 zip file before you unzipped it?
is working on a reply...
