    Multi sites using a IIS site for each site

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if it is possible to have a multisite Umbraco where each site is setup in a individual IIS rather than in one single IIS? We are thinking about doing this so that each site is generating a unique log IIS log file.

    Maybe using the Umbraco load balancing config would work as each site would have a specific domain in IIS?

    Any other thoughts?

    Hi Jeavon

    I think this should be possible. You could create a IIS website for each of the domains in your Umbraco installation, and then just point all of the sites to the same Umbraco installation. Inside Umbraco you'll then set up the correct hostnames for each site and you should be running.

    I think this would work.
