    Trouble Installing Umbraco 4.7.0.378

    Hello, I'm completely new to Umbraco. I'm trying to install the latest version manually on a local machine, but am having some trouble.

    I've made an empty SQL Server Express database and have extracted the Umbraco build into a folder in wwwroot. Also, I created a new site in IIS and pointed it to the folder where I extracted Umbraco and set the app pool to ASP.NET 4.

    So, I thought everything was fine, but I can't get past the first part of the configuration wizard. Clicking on the install link does't do anything and neither does any of the other links.

    Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

    did you give for NETWORK SERVICE permissions?

    Hi Kevinw690

    Did you manage to get this solved by the suggestion of Eran?

    Or is it still acting up? If so...is the application pool identity set to use network service?
