    running on not compiled umbraco

    HI all,

the umbraco releases is compiled to dll to use the system

but it possible running at not compiled to use? (the mean is the .cs code file depend on the aspx)

I know codeplex has source code to download and modify...

but it just not like Joomla's php code and intuition (open the php file to code them, the server will directly to compile and execute)

so I just ask it has possible to running at not cimpiled system?

    thx alot :)

    Hi Bambe

I'm not sure what you're asking is possible...

If I understand you correctly you want to install Umbraco directly from the source code without compiling it?

    /Jan

No you cannot use Umbraco as a CMS from the source, it will only work if you use a built version.

Deployment of Umbraco will alway (partly) require some manual steps, there's no getting around that at the moment I'm afraid. This might improve when V5 is released.
