    umbraco 4.7, Godaddy, empty nodes after installation

    Hi,

    I have just installed umbraco 4.7 after 4 hours struggeling with write permission for web.config.

    but now when I log in to umbraco all the section such as content , media , users, members, settings and developers the tree node is empty!!!

    anyone any idea?

    I just installed umbraco 4.5.2 and it works like a charm. without any changes on web.config.

    any idea why not umbraco 4.7?

    I am having the same issue.

    Was able to install 4.7 on Godaddy shared hosting. all folders and files have read write permissions, but after every attempt (3x's now) the site loads with no nodes. 

    None show up in the admin section and also the splash nonodes.aspx appears.

    any suggestions?

    Hi Marc,

    Have you tried republishing all the nodes?

    there are no nodes showing up on the admin section for content, media, users, settings, developer,memebers.

    I try to re-do the starterkit - but it doesnt give me anything. 

    I look at SQL table umbracoNodes and it has nodes:

    Hi Marc,

    As far as I know Godaddy does not support FULL TRUST( umbraco 4.7 needs full trust support). So you can call them and ask to cancel the hosting as I did the same thing.

    I’ve moved my website from Godaddy to another hosting.  The new hosting is fast, cheap, reliable, works like a charm and very easy to use control panel. 

    I've explained it on my blog. if you would like to go for the above option have a look at my blog umbraco web hosting
