    images missing after upgrade

    I just upgraded from .net 3.5 and umbraco 4.5.2 to .net 4 and umbraco 4.7 on my local dev.

    At the same time, I grabbed the database from my production server and copied it to local (and so ran the upgrade against the copy of the production database)

    Everything went fine and smooth, except all the images are missing from the media tab.  The items are listed there, but there are no images, just the file name where the picture usually shows up (etc /media/826/wisp.jpg)

    If I run the site with the old version (4.5.2 and .net 3.5) against the same database, the images are there. 

    Any ideas?  I really don't want to have to re-upload all the images (a lot).

    Possibly a stupid question, but did you copy over the actual Media folder that contains the physical images?

    not a stupid question - no I did not. I thought the images were stored in the database (obviously I am thinking of something else!)

    Thanks for answering so quickly (and making me feel silly... :) )
