My site works fine on localhost. I moved it manually to a staging server, copying also the SQL server files. The site works OK, except the homepage will not display unless I use the full path.
Site IP - http://216.114.66.75
This get's a 404 error produced by the server. it does not display the homepage or my custom 404 page set in Umbraco
http://216.114.66.75/default.aspx
This displays the homepage as it should. (my homepage is the first node below the root in Umbraco like it should be)
I have default.aspx set as my site's Default Document in IIS.
If I create another file like test.html and set it as my Default Document it does not display either. I see the server's 404 page.
I don't think this is am IIS only issue. Can Umbraco be affecting this behavior?
