Multiple installations on windows 7
Hey all,

I seem to have mutiple installations of Umbraco on my windows 7 machine and can't quite get my head round how its happened. Within the following folder

C:\Users\MYNAME\Documents\My Web Sites

I have 4 folders
1. Umbraco CMS
2. Umbraco CMS1
3. Umbraco CMS3
4. Umbraco CMS4
Not sure how I managed it but could this give me problems?

Cant seem to edit my post above...so I'll reply to myself!

Getting an error when i try to run umbraco...

"There can be only one 'master' directive." and when i try to install a starter kit i'm getting

"An item with the same key has already been added."

is thay connected to the above post?

Hi Stephen

How did you install Umbraco on your machine? Did you use webmatrix to do it?

I used the web platform installer, is that the web martix?

Hi Stephen

No the web pi and web matrix are not the same thing.

Are you able to login to Umbraco and is it when you're logged in you can't install the starter kits? And does the mentioned error happen when you view the site in a browser?

I'm not sure if this stuff is happening to you during installation or if you actually have managed to install Umbraco and it happens when you're inside Umbraco etc.
