    Installing in existing database

    Hello all!

I'm back doing some umbraco stuff after a long time away.

I I install umbraco into a database, non-umbraco tables already existing there will not be affected. Right?

This was the case some years ago and I just want to make sure it has not changed.

    Thanks!

    That should read:

"If I install umbraco into a database, non-umbraco tables already existing there will not be affected. Right?"

The seemingly everlasting xslt-bug when editing forum posts hit me trying to correct it... Unbelievable it's still not corrected.

Finally had a chance to test myself. Installing umbraco does not seem to interfere with any already existing tables in the database.

    Hey,

I thought this would be the case, but didn't have time to confirm.

Thanks for posting back with the info.

Just so you know, work on an upgrade of our.umbraco was started before codegarden, but as far as I know all the changes have not been submitted, hopefully the annoying edit bug willl be fixed along with some upgrades.

    Rich
