I did an upgrade on a site last night. I could not get the installer to run, it just stayed stuck at step one. However, the back end seems to work fine when I login and everything seems in order. I had to manually update the version from 4.5.2 to 4.7.0 in the web.config.
My question is, were there any database schema changes before 4.5.2 and 4.7.0 that may not have been applied since the installer didn't really run?

I looked into it at one point, and as far as I can tell, there were no DB updates since version 4.0, so you should be allright.
