I moved my Umbraco site to a new server (64bit Win 2K8, IIS7, SQL2008) Now the content tree in the left hand pane is blank.
I have amended the permissions on the files already so it isn't down to that. I can't think why this is happening.
Can anyone help me - its driving me mad!
If you've moved the database also, have you checked that all the content from the DB has moved across to the new one?
Have you tried restarting IIS? (you never know...)
Yes all the content from the DB had moved across correctly. I tried restarting IIS as well but nothing.
I also ran the permissions script (as found here http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/install-and-setup/set-umbraco-folder-permissions-from-command-line) but still nothing. In the end I ended up installing a fresh copy of Umbraco and then manually migrating everything across. It was a complete pain but got it sorted in the end.
Maybe I should have just used Courier2!! :)
