    loading of document types very slow after upgrade to 4.7.1

    Hi,

    I did an upgrade of my Umbraco 4.7.0 instances to 4.7.1 After this upgrade I noticed that loading document types in the backoffice is really slow.

    Has someone else experienced this, and what could cause the issue? I followed the upgrade instructions and copied the /bin, /umbraco and /umbraco_client folders and copied the /umbraco/config/create/ui.xml file

    There's been a few people who've mentioned this on Twitter, and so far the concensus seems to be that the culprit is FamFamFam icons (or one of the other big icon sets). If you remove all the unused icons, you should have a much faster page load....... I've not had the issue myself yet though.

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for the advice. However, I think I will report this bug on codeplex, because removing all unused images is a bit tedious. FamFamFam icons where no issue in previous versions of Umbraco so it shouldn't be an issue in 4.7.1
