    Compact edition database question

    Hi guys , i did install an umbraco website, during installation i chose CE database, now if i want

    to deploy my website on a server, would it need a sql server 2005+ or this kind of databases  doesn't need

    a sql server installed ?

    It shouldn't, the beauty behind the SQLCE database option is the database stays with the solution.  Typically, you should be able to copy and deploy as a whole without the need of SQL Server.
