A few things to watch out for when upgrading from 4.7.0 to 4.7.1, if you have the plugin to block the lockout screen, make sure you uninstall it before you do the upgrade, or it will break your Umbraco back office, you'll just get the loading bar, and you won't be able to access the back office (you can get round this by modifying a page in the cms if this happens to you)!
Another thing to watch out for, is ifyou are using Contour, and you are using a version prior to 1.10, you'll need upgrade to the latest version, otherwise it won't work properly!
How do i Upgrade Umbraco site to the new version?
Hi everyone,
I have a umbraco site installed locally on my computer. I think it's the 4.7.0 version.
How do I upgrade it to the new version 4.7.1?
Please let me know where to find the instructions.
Regards Kristian
Hi!
Basiclly you just replace some binaries and umbraco / umbraco-client-folders.
This thread talks about it: http://our.umbraco.org/forum/getting-started/installing-umbraco/24284-Update-from-470-to-471
And this wiki-page http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/install-and-setup/upgrading-an-umbraco-installation
