    upgrade 4.7.0 to 4.7.1

    Hello all,

     

    I just tried to upgrade my umbraco install from 4.7.0 to 4.7.1 i copied the bin, umbraco and umbraco client folders over but the installer did not run when i hit the site root and no upgrade appears to have happend. any ideas?

    Hi Lachlann

    When you write "site root" is that the website itself or the backoffice? You need to access the backoffice for the upgrade wizard to run.

    I hit both the backend and the front end nothing really seemed to happen

    Hey Owen,

     

    Nope no errors or anything. I just re uploaded the bin and umbraco and client folders and it seems to have worked! not sure what heppened Im not sure how the upgrade process is initialised but something must not have been set somewhere.

    All fixed now though, thanks for all your help.

    Hi, if you want to rerun the install scripts you can do so by removing the version of umbraco form the web config file, just leave the value as empty

    <add key="umbracoConfigurationStatus" value="4.7.0" />
