I have two language specific sites under one umbraco install:

-site 2 (Japanese)

Each site is sharing the same templates. I'm trying to use dictionary items for things like 'home' and 'login'. The English site is working fine, but the Japanese site is not returning anything for the dictionary items. I'm reading them in xslt using GetDictionaryItem().
The Japanese site has its language set under manage hostnames to Japanese. The English site is set to English as well. I'm accessing the pages as www.site1.com/page1 and www.site2.com/page2. Does anyone know why my Japanese site would not be correctly reading the dictionary values?
and just to be clear, when I go to the dictionary item, I see the English and Japanese textboxes. It doesn't seem to read the Japanese text (or any text for that matter) when I go to the Japanese site (site2).
