There are two buttons in top left of content, 'save' and 'save and publish'...if you do not publish it will not show up.
Another thing to check is that you havent got the umbHide checkbox ticked in properties, this will stop things displaying in the menu. It depends on which skin you have installed.
I could be wrong, and it may also be other issues. I am still fairly noobie myself.
How does your tree structure look like? It should look like this:
-Home
--SomePage
--AnotherPage
If you added a new node at the same level as the Home-node it doesn't show up in your navigation. If that's not it - are you able to visit your newly added page after publishing if you use the link in the "properties" tab?
Hiya Bill, There is a learning curve to use Umbraco for sure (any CMS has a learning curve). Sometimes creating the site from scratch without a CMS is a more cost effective way to go (it depends on what you are trying to achieve). But.please don't be scared of Umbraco, it really is a great CMS in so many ways....once you get over the humps in the beginning it is well worth the effort.
Anyway, besides that I haven't used that skin so I can't be off much help, but I would suspect you will need items under the Frontpage Sliders node.
Best of luck with whatever you choose to get your site up and running!
NOOB Questions
Instaled latest version and have a few issues:
1. When I add a slider to FrontPage Sliders it never shows up. When I change text on one of the current ones it shows changes.
2. How do I add a new page to menu at the top? I created a new page but it never shows.
Have you clicked on publish?

Hope this helps.

Thanks John. Did the save and save & publish, still no go.
Checked the page and it does not have the hide check box checked.

I deleted the sliders and published the site and they still show.
I decided to give up on UMBRACO and create the site from scratch!
