    Installed Packages folder gone

    Hey All.

    I just upgraded umbraco from 4.0.2 to 4.5.2.

    It ll went ok, but I have a small problem now.

    In Umbraco, I no longer have the folder "Installed packages".

    I removed the packages folder from /data (in Umb 4.0.2) to /App_data (in Umb 4.5.2) - but the folder is no longer there?

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi Peter,

    Is there a file called "installedPackages.config" in the folder "/app_data/packages/installed/" of the website? that's where the installed packages information should be for the newer versions of Umbraco.

    Hey Tim,

    you are really trying to help me huh ;)
    I also read, that the "packages" folder should be in the /app_data folder, but thats not true when running Umbraco 4.5.2.

    I moved the /packages back to the /data folder, and wupti, all my installed packages showed up again.
    I don't know why that is, considoring, that all the WIKI's on upgrading from 4.0.x to 4.5.2 says exactly what you are saying?!?!
