    Login to Sql 2008 Express DB failed in installation

    Please refer to this SQL Server MSDN forum thread (link below), where I posted this problem. Please. I tried from other similar threads on this forum, but no help. Please help. I have given good snapshots on SQL Server forum.

    Hi. Does your SQL server allow SQL authentication at all?

    I might be wrong, but.....

    The password for the "sa" (serveradmin) user, must be chanced. The dots are no password, and can be chanced to your perferred one :)

    Otherwise you can't create the tables.

    No need. You'd better have the sa login disabled at all. For umbraco working properly you just need that the login of the umbraco itself has enough permissions (db_reader, db_writer, db_ddladmin - and the latter can be removed after installation) or you can just add your umbraco login to the db_owner database role (if security is not very much of concern).
